ecology in action
the ecological claim lived in the school is not only expressed in construction and materiality. it should be consciously lived to the outside through a lively and biodiverse facade. the school becomes the canvas of nature - active care and management by students becomes an integral part of everyday school life.
common campus
the new building picks up essential proportions of the pedagogical college. the central access axis is continued via the rotunda and promotes synergies between the existing and new building (refectory and sports field). also the passage for the future educational buildings in the north can be led over the school campus and integrates it on both sides.
school on the hill
the preservation of a large part of the hill preserves the identity of the site and becomes a characteristic feature of the school. the gyms are embedded in the topography and an elevated natural open space is created which is directly associated with the interior of the school.
