living at the kurpark
the building site forms the transition from the kurbadstrasse urban development area to the adjacent kurpark. the planned building is divided into three volumes of different heights.
community
the residential building is accessible via two staircases with natural lighting, which can be reached from the central foyer in the middle block. a communal terrace with a playground for small children is located in front of the main entrance to improve communication between the residents. there is also a children's playroom, a laundry room and an exercise room on the ground floor with a view into the dense tree population. the roof terrace on the central building can be reached from both stairwells on the 3rd floor. it invites residents to garden together and cook in the nearby communal kitchen with raised garden beds and relaxation areas.
green frame
the green wild frame surrounds the building and frames the site. only extensively maintained, it gives space to the flora and fauna. on the promenade, a flowering island of grasses and shrubs under the trees invites you to linger. by preserving as many trees as possible, a ring of trees is formed, which is complemented by a playground under trees. an existing clearing provides space for activity and offers nature-oriented play with boulders, sand and wooden play equipment.
