living at kurpark
the building site forms the transition from the kurbadstrasse urban development area to the adjacent spa park. the planned building is divided into three volumes of different heights.
the residential building is accessed via two naturally lit stairwells, which can be reached from the central foyer in the middle structure. a communal terrace with a children's playground is located in front of the main entrance to improve communication between the residents.
the communal roof terrace on the central building can be reached from both stairwells on the 3rd floor. the terrace invites residents to garden together and cook in the adjoining communal kitchen with raised beds and relaxation areas.
a large part of the ground floor is made available to the community. here, residents will find, among other things, a children's playroom, laundry room and exercise room with a terrace in front and a view of the dense tree population.
by preserving as many trees as possible, a ring of trees is formed, which is complemented by a forest playground under trees. an existing clearing provides space for activity and offers natural play with boulders, sand and wooden play equipment.
