POEG national exhibition

the conceptual approach

the creative approach of the exhibition is to create a composition of spaces that can be experienced in different ways. each area wants to put the visitor in a different mood, offer different experiences, arouse different associations.

in addition to space-forming installations, the use of light and shadow, surfaces and materials, as well as sounds and smells plays a major role - all senses should be addressed. in addition, the visitor should take action - become part of the exhibition by participating in it himself. interactions between the individual zones, e.g. through video transmissions, should take place. the exhibition aims to enlighten and inform, but also to unsettle - to become a breeding ground for discussions. we understand our contribution as the basis of a joint formulation of spatial structures in which each area becomes an exciting, tangible experience.

dealing with the substance, that is, the premises of the pöggstall castle, also plays a major role for us. the exhibition wants to be perceived as a temporary installation that does not compete with the rooms of the castle and can be dismantled after the end of the exhibition without leaving a trace. showcases and exhibition walls stand loosely in space as paravents, texts are projected - the rooms of the castle can still be experienced.
