swarm intelligence in the ‘hive’

our competition design for the oxford college library is based on the ideas of collaboration and swarm intelligence. we wanted to create a space that not only stores knowledge, but actively encourages learning, networking and curiosity. each room was designed to maximise access to knowledge and inspire students to engage with ideas together.

experimental designing

and that's not all. during the design process, we further developed this concept by using jakob dunkl's sketches and integrating AI tools as much as possible to experiment with new ways in which swarm intelligence can influence architectural design. the result is a building that is shaped not only by a single vision, but by collective creativity.
