furniture for the EXPO
for the vip lounge in our EXPO pavilion in dubai we developed a piece of furniture together with the technical college htl mödling. the vip lounge of the pavilion extends over three of the 38 cones and it's own courtyard. the furniture consists of over 200 different parametrically calculated and cnc-milled spruce multilayer boards and, together with the interior of the cone, represents our interpretation of a traditional arabic meeting room. the students of the course for interior design supervised by thomas radatz also manufactured the furniture in-house.
in addition to the vip furniture, the reception tables and the selfie station in front of the pavilion were also developed in the same cooperation.
we are happy about the great cooperation and the motivation the students brought to the realization of the project.
