affordable, high-quality housing is becoming an increasing challenge that cities and communities must address. between rising construction costs, limited budgets, and the desire for design quality, it is important to find new ways in housing construction—ways that take into account current developments such as demographic change, changing family and employment models, and the urgent need for greener construction.
in this area of tension, participatory processes are gaining in importance: they focus on the perspectives of those affected, meet the growing need for more self-determination and co-creation in the living environment, strengthen communities, and create acceptance for new ideas."
