IKEA at vienna's westbahnhof opens on august 26th
at today's press conference, the official opening date of IKEA city center at vienna's westbahnhof was announced.
"an innovative, inviting furniture store is being built in the heart of vienna. after a two-year construction phase, it will open to all interior fans on august 26th, 2021 - during the opening phase, visiting is only possible with an electronic admission ticket. the new IKEA store is completely car-free - the concept is entirely geared towards pedestrians, public transport users and cyclists. with its green facades and plenty of space for people - from appealing restaurants to the generally accessible roof terrace - IKEA vienna westbahnhof is so much more than just a furniture store."
