EXPO majlis at museumsquartier
together with students of the department for wood technology of HTL mödling under the guidance of prof. thomas radatz we developed a piece of seating furniture for the VIP area of the austrian pavilion at EXPO 2020 dubai. the bench is a modern interpretation of traditional arabic seating and meeting rooms - the majlis.
it has now been brought home. the students have reassembled the bench at the staatsratshof of museumquartier in front of the architekturzentrum wien. it will remain there for the summer season.
