field trip to burgenland

for this year’s field trip, we headed to burgenland. during a leisurely hike across goldberg, we enjoyed not only local sparkling wine but also the magnificent view over the surrounding vineyards all the way to lake neusiedl.

afterward, we accepted peter sapp’s invitation and visited him to celebrate his birthday. in his garden, we rounded out the day with select wines, fine grape juice, and stimulating conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.

an all-around successful outing with beautiful scenery, good company, and warm burgenland hospitality.
